Asus ZenFone 3 Max Receiving Android 8.1 Oreo with Update ZenUI 5.0 – Movingtrend

Asus ZenFone 3 Max has received the Android 8.1 Oreo update, the latest operating system is rolling out via FOTA(Firmware-over-the-Air).

Asus Zenfone 3 Max is receiving the Android 8.1 Oreo; to recall back Asus ZenFone 3 Max was launched in 2016 and running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, that was the most famous version of that time. This update also carries the ZenUI version up to version 5.0. The best thing is that Asus is still supporting the smartphone after the launch of two years.

The ZenUI 5.0 update based on Android Oreo for the Asus ZenFone Max 3 carries the version number 15.0200.1807.406. The update information is shared by the Asus ZenTalk forum, the update comes with security patch expected. The update will be available within weeks to all handsets. Users can manually check the update by going to Settings > About > System update.

Asus ZenFone 3 Max is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It sports 5.5-inch full HD+ display; 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual LED Flash and sports 8-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity options list include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, and FM radio. Sensor on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Asus ZenFone 3 Max packs with 4100mAh battery.

As we know the Asus ZenFone 3 Max is available in two variants ZC520TL and ZC553KL. Only the later will receive this update.
