Google Camera update brings Google Lens to Pixels, Nexus and other Google Supported devices. At I/O 2018, Google revealed that Google Lens feature would be introduced into native camera apps in some smartphones.
Google Camera Update hit the version to 5.2.025.
At I/O Google talked about the Google Lens and decided to develop the feature into native camera apps in smartphones. Since, then we have seen this live processing built right into the camera apps of smartphones like Moto, Asus and OnePlus. Some smartphones of these brands have integrated Google Lens into their camera apps. But the Google own Pixels and Nexus were not receiving Google Lens update. Now, Google in latest update made available the Google Lens for the Google supported devices.
Google Camera version 5.2.025 introduces the Google Lens integration to Pixels, Nexus and Google supported other devices. When User gets the update, then user will see the Google Lens Option in the navigation bar. Click on the Google Lens option, it will open the camera once again. But this time ask you to tap on the object which you want to search online. So, this feature allows the user to search, copy text plus translate the text on the object.
Google Lens has become the hot topic, as it was revealed at I/O 2017; it is an image recognition tool that give contextual suggestions for the objects that user can scan with the camera. It is camera-powered search engine that links search, AI, AR and computer vision.

According to Android Police this feature is working on Nexus 6P and Pixels smartphones.
