Sam Shepard dead at 73: US actor - Movingtrend

Sam Shepard a US actor, playwright. He was Oscar-nominated actor and winner of the Pulitzer prize for the playwright. He was dead at 73 a family spokeman said. His career spanned for five decades.
Shepard won the Pulitzer award for his drama 'Buried Child' in 1979, he wrote 50 plays. He secured an Academy award in 1984 for the best supporting role in 'The Right Stuff'. He was playing a role in NetFlix television series 'Bloodline'.
Chris Boneau, said the spokesman for the family,
“The family requests privacy at this difficult time”.
AFP confirmed that:
Shepard died at home in Kentucky on Thursday of complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease.
