Finally the Verdict came out after the decade of investigation, and Former President retired Gen Musharraf is called escapee, five suspects of the Tehreek-i-Taliban are set free. And the Two police officials sentence for 17 years.
Police chief of Rawalpindi, Saud Aziz and a former Superintendent of Police (SP) at Rawal Town, Khurram Shahazad was granted 17 years in prison. According to the Pakistan Penal Code section 119 granted 10 years of imprisonment and under section 201 included seven years more in prison. The both were fined Rs. 500, 000 each, if they don't pay fine six months more spent into the prison.
The five suspects of the Tehreek-i-Taliban which have cleared from all charges named Rafaqat Hussain, Husnain Gul, Sher Zaman, Aitzaz Shah and Abdul Rashid.
Court is also issued arrest warrants for retired Gen Musharraf, and grabs his properties. Musharraf is charged for not giving the sufficient security despite her repeated request.
Including Musharraf five other men are also declared escapee named:
Baitullah Mehsud, Ahmad Gul, Iqramullah, Abdullah, and Faizullah.
