Will Cow be the National Animal of India? -Movingtrend
Peacock are Brahmachari (means celibate), and don’t have sex with peahens. And Peahens get pregnant by drinking the tears of the Peacocks , an Indian High Court Judge said on Wednesday.
He asked the Modi Government to declare the Cow as the Indian national animal to follow the suit of the Nepal, Justice Mahesh Chandra Sharma told CNN News18. Convincing his suggestion he said, “Peacock is a Bramhachari and it does not have sex with a peahen. The peahen gets pregnant drinking the tears of the peacock. Even lord Krishna carried the feather of a peacock on his head.”
Justice Sharma who retired on Wednesday, endorse the Modi Conservative Government to declare the Cow as national animal and punishment of cow slaughter should be life imprisonment.
The Court asked the state chief secretory to take step to implement that suggestion as Public interest litigation (PIL).
He said, it has nothing to do with the secularism “Only a call of the soul”, explaining his judgment he has pointed the example of Nepal that had declared the Cow as the national animal.
Recently Uttarkhand High Court said that the River Ganga and Yumna should be declared as legal person and likewise cow should be given that status too.
It will be an extremist step by the government if the cow will become the national animal, India is not only a homo-religious country but muliti-religious country. Muslims of India feel a new pain if that suggestion will pursue and implemented. Cow riot will erupted in India because Muslims will slaughter the cow on religious event called Eid-ul-IZHA.
