Reliability and efficiency of Apple’s iPhones is decreased year after year, a report published by Blancco Technology.

Data of that report collected from the region of North America, Europe and Asia. That data evaluation has clearly shown that the performance of iPhone devices performance has declined as compared to android devices. Blancco Technology Groups has divided that data in five quarters which named as Q4 2015, Q1 2016, Q2 2016, Q3 2016, Q4 2016.

iOS devices are less stable as compared to android devices. Frequent performance issues in new iPhone models like iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Issues of iOS Devices

Diagnostics testing data reveals that the crashing apps have become a constant source of performance issues on iOS devices. Crashing apps have become the top-most performance issue in Q4 2016.

Overheating problem: when user downloaded and installed the iOS 10 software update, it updated apps in the background, which results in eat up device’s battery and life, and cause the device to heat.

Malfunctioning in headphone:   Apple ear pods have been malfunctioning, and users cannot hear anything during phone calls. Some iOS users reported that the microphone constantly cuts in and out.


Bluetooth: Bluetooth connectivity issue is also found in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.

Issues with Android devices:

Android and iPhone performance issues varies, most consistent issue of android devices was recorded about camera in last year.

Causes of Poor performance in iOS devices and Android Devices

    1. Poor designing of apps itself in iOS

    2. Updating of latest software version in iOS

    3. Updating of the latest operating system in iOS

Commonly crashed apps are Facebook, Instagram, and snapchat on iPhone.  And on androids devices, Google Play Services and Yahoo Mail Android Apps crash most of the time.
