Apple is making available the updates for the iPhone, iPad, iPod and for the Apple TV. Both software update is made available simultaneously that the users of the both platform restores the HomeKit sharing after the remote access bug.

Last week, the bug is spotted in remote access and Apple at the same time launched the iOS 11.2.1 update for eligible iPhone, iPad, iPod and tvOS 11.2.1 for the Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K, just want to make sure that both platfroms restore the HomeKit sharing.

Software update is rolling out for the Apple TV variants Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K.
The bug which was spotted last week, was given the unauthorized access in vulnerable situations. With these new updates Apple efficiently restored the access for all users. Apple said in statement: ”iOS 11.2.1 fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app.”
Download Updates for the iPhone, iPod, iPad:
1. Go to Settings
> Software Update
2. And then check for the update, and when it shows
3. Click the Download
And the update is automatically installed on the eligible devices.
1. Use Wi-Fi connections
2. Back up your data
3. Before the start of the update ensures that the device 50 percent charged or connected to a device
Downlaod Updates for the Apple TV:
Exactly the same steps to follow to download the update and installation. Go to Settings
> Software Updates
in tvOS. When the update downloaded, it will restart the Apple TV for one time. Users can install this update manually by downloading the IPSW file through iTunes.
